Shows the first 15 minutes of the match. Check-out the outstanding driving and mauling in channel 1 by the Cavalier forwards. Alan Whetton, Jack Hobbs, Wayne Shelford and Hika Reid doing some great driving and mauling with the help of the other forwards. The NZ backline play was a bit rusty although Mike Clamp did score an excellent try on the wing when Robbie Deans jumped into the backline. Deans succeeded with a penalty at about 3 minutes and Schalk Naude even-it-up with one at 5 minutes -after some rusty backline play by the Cavaliers. Naude kicked an outstanding 40 meter dropkick at 10 minutes for the JBoks to take the lead. Clamp scored his try soon afterwards and the Cavaliers was leading at 15 minutes 7-6 when Deans missed with the conversion and a penalty right on the 15 minute mark.

Interesting that Grant Fox was not taking the goal kicks in the first 15 minutes of the game.
